A Binder that started it all.
Here is a binder that has been available since the Hoover Dam. With that being said this has been a binder that we have strived to mimic its best features and improve on its flaws. The panels are very thick almost a 1/4 of an inch. The metal spine and continuous aluminum piano hinges makes this binder a tuff piece of equipment. In our opinion this binder is quite heavy when filled with paper, and is limited to some special accessories like index tabbed dividers or sheet protectors due to its less than desirable short panels. Another note is that should this binder be in a moist atmosphere for a prolonged period of time the panels will swell with moisture, the same could be said if liquid was spilled on it and not removed quickly. A good/bad feature is the round ring, the good is that it is a locking ring and makes a great feature but the bad is that the ring is a round ring and for the price it would have been better if it had a Slant-D ring instead. A very important point is the price, in our opinion it is a little on the high side. |
